Polish-African Congress in Łódź

Łódź is known in Africa through the School of Polish for Foreigners. 30 representatives from African countries, including 20 ambassadors, visited the city for the Polish-African Congress organized by the Łódź Chamber of Commerce. The event was attended, among others, by: Janusz Piechociński, Minister of Economy and Olgierd Dziekoński, Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the President. Representatives of the African countries argued about the stability of their countries and economic opportunities for Polish companies. CIR and the centre for dialogue and anaylysis, THINKTANK, prepared a special edition of the Poland-Africa Dossier for the Congress, compiled for the visit of Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Nigeria and the inauguration of the governmental program „Go Africa”​​.
