Eugeniusz Smolar introduced the Polish Round Table Talks and Agreement and four key most important objectives of the new government: „First, establishment of constitutional democracy; second, introduction of the market economy and reduction of the level of indebtedness (…); three, final recognition of Western border by Germany (…); and forth, elimination of the dependance on the USSR (…).”
