Pandemic took us by surprise. In the XXI century, we have been spending huge resources on research and development of medical sciences, and yet the whole world had to stop and surrender to the virus for many months. To what extend did the pandemic speed up the development of medicine and life sciences? Has it accelerated international co-operation, since Covid knows no frontiers? What is the future of medical and medical-related sciences?
