Book Talk: The Demons of Russia
The Centre for International Relations invites you for the next event from our BOOK TALK series.
Witold Jurasz, a director of the Institute for Strategic Studies and a journalist at Onet, will be the guest of our event.
From 2005 to 2009 he was the II, and then the I secretary of the Polish Embassy in Moscow. Witold Jurasz will talk to us about his new book “The Demons of Russia”, in which he describes the politics of Vladimir Putin and the realities of everyday life in Russia, while showing that Putin is not the only creator of the evil, which we see in reports about the Russian crimes committed in Ukraine. In his opinion, evil in Russia was only dormant and little was needed for it to triumph once more.
The event will be hosted by dr Małgorzata Bonikowska, the director of THINKTANK and the Centre for International Relations.
