On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the signing of the North Atlantic Treaty and the creation of NATO, the 20th anniversary of Poland’s membership in the Alliance, as well as 15th anniversary of Lithuania’s membership, the Centre for International Relations carried workshops for Polish and Lithuanian students of the Secondary School named after Darius and Girenas in Puńsk, as well as the High School named after March 11 in Puńsk, Poland. The subject concerned the importance of NATO for the security of Poland, Lithuania and the whole region, countering disinformation and how to be resilient to fake news. The special guest was Izolda Bričkovskiene from Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania in Sejny.
