Turkish Victory day commemorates the Battle of Dumlupinar – final and decisive battle in the Turkish War of Independence. On this occasion, Turkish Embassy in Warsaw has organized an official reception party. The celebration was opened by Ismail Kahraman – the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly – who praised the cooperation with Poland. Poland is one of the countries that supports Turkey’s bid to become a member of the EU, Kahraman said in praise of bilateral relations between the two nations.I believe our partnership will bring good results in economic, cultural and political domains. – added Kahraman. Michał Smagowicz – Centre for International Relations Executive Director – also took part in the event.
