Artificial intelligence in the public and private sectors na Poland and Czech Republic

The purpose of the project is to compare Poland and the Czech Republic in terms of the usage and introduction of solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI) in the private and public sectors, as well as to popularise good practices, with a special focus on solutions that serve the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. The CSM partner in the Czech Republic is Aspen Institute Central Europe from Prague.

As part of the project, an English-language report entitled “Artificial intelligence in the public and private sectors in Poland and Czech Republic – a comparative analysis” was written.

The authors of the report carried out analyses and made recommendations on:

  • the importance of AI topics in both countries’ policies and funding mechanisms for AI technologies;
  • the state of education and research and the advancement of the AI academia;
  • the impact of AI on the labour market in Poland and the Czech Republic;
  • the advancement of the public and private sectors in adopting AI technologies.

The report also includes 5 little-known examples of AI applications in both sectors and describes the most interesting initiatives using AI to fight the Covid-19 pandemic in both countries.
