„The feeling of bitterness is inevitable. A spectacular medal defeat, regardless the millions of euro spent on training systems, loud doping scandal with an Olympic champion in the lead role, and everything topped with doubts whether Germany have rightly gotten entangled international politics in the rivalry between athletes – all this makes the gingerbread cookies after the Sochi Olympic Games extremely difficult to swallow. These were not the dream games from the perspective of Berlin”- writes Paweł Rzekanowski in the latest issue of the German Bulletin entitled „Trabant instead of Formula I”.
The bulletin is a monthly published by the Center for International Relations, which describes the economic, political and social situation of our western neighbors.
