Latest events, which have been happening in Ukraine, carry a not-only geopolitical importance. Those changes are also significant for the neighboring countries, including Poland. In order to understand the essence of the political, economic and social processes, which have been taking place in Ukraine for years now, we need to understand the political, economic and social changes.
Aleksander Kwaśniewski – the former President of Poland and special emissary of the European Parliament to Ukraine and Janusz Reiter – the Chairman of the Centre for International Relations’ Foundation discussed the implications of the Ukraine’s situation for Polish and European politics and economics. The experts emphasize that it is a moral duty of the European Union’s leaders to impose sanctions against anyone, who is responsible for the escalation of violence in Ukraine.
