Centre for International Relations – a member of the EU-Russia Civil Society Forum

The Steering Committee of the EU-Russia Civil Society Forum has accepted Centre for International Relations’ application for membership.

The EU-Russia Civil Society Forum is a permanent common platform for cooperation and coordination of civil society organisations from Russia and the European Union with the purpose to develop common positions of civil society groups; increase and facilitate interaction and cooperation between civil society organisations as well as promoting people to people exchanges; provide mutual support, assistance and solidarity among civil society groups; influence EU-Russia relations, political dialogue and a wider range of intergovernmental interactions on all levels; promote consolidation of shared values, strengthen European legal regimes and European institutions, help Russia’s integration with Europe, create a shared public space and support future establishment of a common political, economic, cultural and social space of a larger Europe.
