In the age of globalization and digitalization, the quality of information has become a serious challenge for contemporary societies. This is especially the case for democratic countries, which are often targets of disinformation. In response to this threat, we joined forces with our partners to analyze the scale of this problem in India. The project focuses on research on reporting given by the traditional Indian media, followed by qualitative and quantitative analysis in search for disinformation cases.
The project’s partners are: INFA (Indian News and Features Alliance), Schumacher Centre Delhi, Indian Journalists Union (IJU), Centre for International Relations (CIR).
