Startup Ecosystem in Hong Kong: Unlocking the Potentials

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Berlin (HKETO Berlin) is pleased to invite you to a webinar highlighting the unique business opportunities for German and other European startups in Hong Kong.  We are organising this webinar as a satellite event of the AsiaBerlin Summit 2021.

Mr Edward YAU Tang-wah, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of the HKSAR Government will share his insights on Hong Kong’s latest business developments and the opportunities it presents to startups. Despite the challenges brought about by the pandemic, Hong Kong’s startup ecosystem has shown strong resilience and adaptability to the fast-moving business environment.  Secretary Yau will highlight the support from the HKSAR Government for startups to unlock their potentials, taking advantages of Hong Kong’s unrivalled connectivity with international markets and Mainland China, as well as its open and competitive economy.

We also have the pleasure to have Mr Bjoern LINDNER, President of the German Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong, as a speaker and to share his first-hand experience with the audience given his knowledge on both the German and Hong Kong businesses and entrepreneur communities.
