Piotr Maciej Kaczyński, Associate

Piotr Maciej Kaczyński is an independent expert in EU affairs. He was a political advisor in the European Parliament (2012-14), research fellow and head of programme at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), where he was responsible for the EU institutional and political issues (2007-12). He has widely published on EU politics as well as on the EU foreign policy. His most important books include “Polish Council Presidency 2011: Ambitions and Limitations” (Stockholm 2011); “The Treaty of Lisbon: A Second Look at the Institutional Innovations” (co-authored, Brussels 2010); and “Ever Changing Union: An Introduction to the History, Institutions and Decision-Making Processes of the European Union” (co-authored, Brussels 2011).
