Prof. Bolesław Balcerowicz

General of the Division of the Armed Forces of poland. Commander 2. Mechanized Division in Nysa (1987-89) and 12. Mechanized Division in Szczecin (1989-91). He retired in 2003. Professor, from 2000 to 2003 commander-rector of the Academy of National Defense, since 2003 a researcher of the Institute of International Relations of the University of Warsaw. Author of numerous publications in the field of state defence and international military relations.
