In the ORF Debate Dr Bonikowska also explained: “At present, I believe we are well-suited to meet India’s military requirements, and we are fully aware that this aligns with India’s current priorities. India is eager to reduce its reliance on Russia and is looking towards Western suppliers, including those in Central and Eastern Europe, to fulfil its defence needs. Poland is certainly interested in participating in this domain, but I think it goes beyond just that. Broadly speaking, Europe as a whole – not just Poland – along with India, must recognise how much closer they have become in terms of security cooperation. This is increasingly evident as the world becomes more interconnected, with the situations in Ukraine and the Pacific being closely linked.
