
Dr Małgorzata Bonikowska, in an interview with TVP World, remarked: “During COP29, several challenges emerged. The foremost issue was the choice of venue. Not all leaders welcomed the decision to hold the conference in Azerbaijan, a nation that is among the largest producers of fossil fuels, including oil and gas. Additionally, concerns were raised about Azerbaijan’s authoritarian governance.
