On Monday, North Korea fires four ballistic missiles. Three of them fell into the sea in the exclusive economic zone of Japan. So far nothing is known about the type of missiles. South Korean General Staff of the armed forces, said that the rockets were fired from the satellite station Seohane in the province of North Pyongyang. Fired missiles did not cause any loss. In order to ensure security in the region, the US forces are working closely with South Korea and Japan.

European Union member states has adopted an agreement liberalizing the visa regime for citizens of Georgia. The Regulation will enter into force 20 days after publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. In March 2016, the European Commission decided that Georgia fulfills all the conditions to abolish visa regime. Restriction includes an arms embargo and travel ban against four people who are suspected for persecution of opposition politicians. President Donald Trump proposed to increase military spending by $54 bilion. This will be possible thanks to the reduction of quotas on nonmilitary programs, including foreign aid and the activities of the Environmental Protection Agency. Former Hong Kong leader, Donald Tsang was sentenced to 20 months in jail for misconduct in public area. Judge, Andrew Chan said, that in his judicial career he has never seen a man fallen from so high. 72-year-old Tsang, Executive Chief of Hong Kong in 2005-2012, is the highest-ranking officer, who stood before the court in a case involving corruption. The European Union Parliament has approved a free trade agreement between EU and Canada. The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) has been five years in the making and its ratification is set to drop all trade barriers between the EU and Canada. Debate lasts almost three hours and the deal was approved by 408 voters, 254 was against. Hundreds of protesters showed up in Strasbourg claiming that only big companies will benefit on this agreement and that will change food safety.

Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, current president of Turkmenistan received 97,7% of the vote in the gas-rich Central Asian nation and he beat eight other candidates. The former dentist and health minister took power in 2006 and has been major figure in the former Soviet republic after the death of dictator Saparmurat Niyazov. The country last year amended the constitution which now removes age limit and allows Berdymukhamedov to be president for life. Human Rights Watch, organization which protects human rights said that elections in Turkemnistan are not free and fair and in this time there will be no exception to this rule.
