Prof. Jerzy Kranz has a PhD, is a scientist and a diplomat. He graduated from Law Faculty at the University of Poznań (1966-1970). He works at the Institute of Law Science at the Polish Academy of Sciences (1975-1990). In the years 1995-1998 he was a deputy chairman of Centre for International Relations. The head of Law and Consular Issues Department and the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1998-2001). During the years of 2001-2002, he was a Polish ambassador to Germany. He received an Alexander von Humboldt – Foundation’s scholarship. He is an author of several publications concerning international law and international relations.
