Between 21^st and 25^th of April a first stage of the project „The Balkans – between history and European Union” was held. There were 15 high ranked media executives from: Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Participants were representing print media, radio and TV. During the four day seminar guests have met polish media executives, policy makers and EU experts. During the seminar our guests participated in the public debate entitled: „The Western Balkans – A Difficult Past, a European Future?”

Most of meetings with polish media executives was possible thanks to active participation of Gazeta  Wyborcza, who was CIR's partner in the project.
