The team

The CSM Climate Team consists of the young Polish professionals with expertise in law, economy, international relations and environment protection. The members of this Team were a part of the official Polish delegation to UNFCCC COP 14 in Poznan.

Ewa STEPAN

Consultant, graduated from Jagiellonian University with a degree in Literature and Theatre Studies. Ms. Stepan has demonstrated substantial national and international experience in media relations in Europe, Poland, the UK, and Macedonia, and great knowledge of EU policies and programmes. As an independent consultant, she has been involved in various EU projects, such as a communication campaign on climate change for the British Embassy and EU awareness campaigns. Ms. Stepan was also responsible for developing, planning, and implementing a national media youth campaign on tolerance in the Republic of Macedonia. She spent nine years in the Press, Information, Education, and Culture Office of the European Commission's Delegation in Poland, and served as Project Manager for the Phare Transition Team at the European Commission's Representation in Poland. Other past experiences include work with the BBC World Service, the Polish Social and Culture Centre in London, and journals such as The Herald Tribune and The Polish Daily. She is a Board Member of the Sue Ryder Foundation.

NYGA-LUKASZEWSKA Honorata

A PhD student in Warsaw School of Economics Mrs. Nyga-Lukaszewska graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics with the degree in International Economics and Marketing and Management. She also was a Socrates – Erasmus student at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany. Mrs. Nyga-Lukaszewska was a member of the team of experts supporting the Polish Special Envoy to COP 14. She has an extensive background in international energy markets and energy security.

SERZYSKO Anna

Graduated of the Interfaculty Environmental Protection Program at the Warsaw University, with an individual study program focused on the environmental protection law. Degree to be received at the Law & Administration Department of the Warsaw University. Former scholarship holder of the Aarhus University, Denmark. Former member of the Expert Team of the Polish Climate Ambassador for the UNFCCC COP 14, responsible for the technology transfer, public participation and climate change awareness issues. Member of the Polish delegation for the COP 14. Associate of the Client Earth group based in Brussels, Belgium. Worked at the Klimasekretariatet (Aarhus University, Denmark).

Within the framework of the Climate and Energy Program of the CIR, focused on the clean coal technologies, CCS and social aspects of the climate protection issues.
